Thanks to the Arts-in-Harmony 2019 International show and the Robbinsdale Historical Society for awarding me their prize for my "Elk River, Early Spring with ducks" .
This is one of my favorite paintings of what must be one of my favorite subjects as lord knows I spend enough time painting water and shore land. It was always my goal at a younger age to be an abstract painter or a surrealist. As I got older it was apparent that the world and images are both abstract and real concurrently, Immutable, inseparable.. just is. Anyhow.. thanks to AIH and the Robbinsdale Historical Society.
