I have done several versions of a quiet winter stream. This one I thought would be the simple and I didn't have much to learn about the subject or technique.. wrong on both counts. I was having trouble correlating was was in my minds eye with what was coming out on canvas.. Many hours and weeks later I think it works okay. This is now version 3.
This painting was donated to the Elk River Caer Food shelf. They have been helping folks in our community for years.
